Glossy red SCRATCH letters above a silver foil scratch card, half scratched by a gold coin, an Apple underneath, with NVIDIA and Costco tiles floating nearby

Scratch the foil. The stock underneath is real.

One card a day. Free. The prize is a real Robinhood stock token, paid out of a vault anyone can read on chain.

Not yet issued. The token has not launched and the vault is not funded. Cards run in demo mode and move nothing. Every number below is read live and says so when it is empty.

Balances are balanceOf calls on Robinhood Chain against the vault address, refreshed every minute. Prices are Robinhood's own quote feed. A tier is only dealt when the vault can pay it; the app tells you before you scratch.

How it works

Three verbs. One of them is scratching.

Connect

Any wallet that has done a few transactions on Robinhood Chain gets its first card free, no strings. From the second card on, hold 1,000 $SCRATCH. A brand-new wallet gets nothing; farms burn a fresh wallet every time, so they never qualify.

Scratch

Rub the foil off with your thumb. The prize was decided when the card was dealt and signed by the vault's key, so it cannot change while you scratch. It can only be revealed.

Claim

One transaction. The vault checks the signature, burns the card, and sends the stock token to your wallet. Hold it, sell it, or send it to your ex.

The card table

Odds, printed on the card.

Per card. A tier is in play only when the vault can pay it right now, and the column on the right is read from the chain.

Where every fee goes

Published before the token exists.

$SCRATCH is launched on Pons with a creator tax. Every fee the escrow credits is split three ways, and the vault's share is what buys the stock under the next card. If this ever changes, it is posted before the change, not after.

Questions

Frequently asked, honestly answered.

Is this financial advice?

No. It is a scratch card. The face value of a common card is fifty cents. Anything you win is a fraction of a real stock token and it will go up and down like the share does. The scratching is guaranteed. The returns are not.

Are these real stocks?

They are Robinhood Chain stock tokens: ERC-20s issued by Robinhood that track the share, one contract per company. Not points, not a picture of a stock. You can hold them, move them or sell them on chain. Robinhood does not offer them to US persons; the vault does not care where you are, but the token does.

Where do the prizes come from?

A vault contract that only ever pays out what was put in. The team funds it first, then the vault's share of the creator fees keeps buying. Nothing is minted. If the vault is empty, the app says so and deals a demo card that moves nothing.

Why is it free?

Because Robinhood's was free, once, and everyone remembers it. This one comes back tomorrow. A paid scratch card is a lottery; a free one is a marketing budget, which is what it is.

What stops someone scratching with a thousand wallets?

One card per wallet per UTC day is enforced by the contract itself, there is a daily budget printed on the proof page, a wallet needs a few transactions on the chain before it gets anything, and once the token exists every card after a wallet's first needs 1,000 $SCRATCH held, never spent. Making new wallets does not help; it just makes new wallets with no first card.

Can I lose the card?

A dealt card expires fifteen minutes after it is dealt if you never claim it. Scratch it, claim it. That is the whole game.

What does $SCRATCH do?

Its trading fees fund the vault. Your first card is free; holding 1,000 $SCRATCH is what keeps the cards coming after that, and holding 5,000 is the only way to be dealt the daily Legendary, a whole NVIDIA share. Read, never taken.
